The terms “wellness” can be confusing. You may not even be sure what “wellness” means. A lot of times we hear the term wellness and assume that it is only about our physical health, or the term refers to whether we are sick or well.

The Webster dictionary defines wellness as “the condition of good physical and mental health, especially when maintained by proper diet, exercise, and habits.”

But here’s my take:

Wellness is a comprehensive lifestyle approach to achieving your best self!

Wellness is a combination of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Don’t expect to achieve it overnight. Wellness is achieved by consciously making good choices. The small good daily choices we make result in our overall wellness as a whole and human being.

While we can have the right thoughts, if our actions don’t follow, we can become frustrated that we are not reaching our goals. It’s a common pitfall that the intention for wellness is there, but without a plan and support, it’s easy to lose our way and succumb to poor choices. The hard truth is that intentions are not enough. No one becomes healthy by hoping to be healthier, making excuses or without effort. You know the saying - anything worth having doesn’t come easy. We become healthy by the choices we make each day and accumulatively over time.

Even when you know what wellness means, it can feel unattainable. I can tell you that it is indeed attainable and it’s not just a term. Wellness is achievable to anyone regardless of financial status, cooking skill, or how busy a person might be.

So what is the pay-off for all this daily work, commitment, planning and self-discipline you ask? The answer is EVERYTHING. If you want unflagging self-esteem, self-confidence, a fit body, sound and agile mind, the explosive energy you need so that you can get out there and conquer just about anything you can dream up, we’ve got a great place to start!

To help you get closer to achieving your wellness goals, here is a 30-day Elite Wellness Challenge that if followed, you will be closer to a healthier and happier you in just a month. These daily challenges are doable for everyone and life-changing when all combined.

Who Should Join?

One word: accountability. The goal isn’t perfection, but to commit to doing small daily practices that get us closer to looking and feeling your best. It’s important to remind ourselves that a healthy lifestyle is a journey, not a destination. The idea is to develop gradual, sustainable changes that will continue even after the challenge ends.

We will provide video links to ALL the daily challenges, so you know how to perform them along with tips on getting the most out of this challenge.

Each day we will have a “Challenge” post inside the private Facebook group, Elite Beauty & Body, where you will be asked you to share your challenge results.

Remember this challenge is meant to hold you accountable to grow and improve your daily health habits.

Each day you post your challenge results, you will receive a point.

At the end of the Challenge, the people with the most points will be included in a raffle drawing for a SkinMedica skincare basket!
